Dolyo 12a's have a1-2 record this year so far. Have run nto a couple of good teams but hope the run into the xmas break will result in a few more points. The team has played well, especially in the field, and all players have contributed well Special mention to Jon Boyd who after a great knock of 63no last week is on a hatrick this week after his 2wickets in his last 2 balls last week. At home this round and ready to show our true abilities!

A big vote of thanks to Nandos Tuggerah for the hugely successful fundraiser on Monday night. We had approximately 80 people attend, with special mention to the 1st Grade and 14A players who rolled up in big numbers. As a result we raised over $1,200 on the night! When you go there next time please thank Ted and the staff for their generosity. Also, let others know as well that the food was delicious and the service was good. We would like to develop a strong relationship where we can support each other. Thanks to everyone who attended and hope you enjoyed the night.

Dear Players and Families,
Welcome to the new 2008-09 season. We hope you are enjoying it so far.

• Please return Cricket NSW Raffle Books and Money by this Saturday 15th November. Hopefully all tickets in your book will be sold but if you can’t sell them all, still return book by this date so we can try to sell them elsewhere. Congratulations to Nicholas Andrew from 11As who won the cricket ball prize this week.
• Hoping teams can get a table together for our fundraising night at Nandos ( see article ). All takings for the night go to the Club, so what a great way to support Doylo! We need numbers to Managers and Captains by this Sat 15th and if you have a preference for a 6pm or 7pm sitting.
• If you are not a player and you are helping out a team in any way including transport, you will need to pay a $5 membership fee for insurance purposes. You will also need to fill out a Child Protection form including Seniors with Under 18 teammates. See your Captain and Manager if you haven’t done so.
• Team of the Month for October will be appearing on Website soon. Anyone can nominate players but please give details. You are also encouraged to nominate people for Club Person of the Month as well, again giving reasons.
• Thanks to Dick Hogan from the RSL for assisting us with the fence on Wednesday. Much appreciated. We would like to encourage all our parents to become members of the RSL. This is a great way to show your appreciation for all the work done by the RSL, particularly in regards to the playing fields.
• Thank you also to Bill Dolby for co-ordinating the Greyhounds night and Jodey Griffiths and Michelle King for doing the raffle on the night.
• Another thank you goes to the Gwandalan Lions Club for their kind donation towards our new cricket net which should be ready for use soon.
